The Chirala Medical and Educational Trust, Inc. is committed to the spiritual health as well as the physical health of those served at Baer Christian Hospital. Through the ministry of St. Luke’s Chapel, located on the grounds of the hospital complex, clients and patients have the opportunity to get to know the Divine Physician, Jesus Christ. “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest,” Jesus said (Matthew 11:29). St. Luke’s Chapel and Christian Parish provides respite and a haven of grace and hope to all people who wish to encounter the living Christ. St. Luke’s mission is to bring Christ’s gentle hand of spiritual healing to those who are being served at Baer Christian Hospital. The Chirala Medical and Educational Trust, by supporting health and educational enterprises at Baer Christian Hospital encourage this ministry of the leaders and members of St. Luke’s Chapel. This Lutheran chapel and parish located just a few steps from the hospital and clinic provides continual service to the patients and clients of Baer Christian Hospital.
